Submission Guidelines

We can’t wait to see your content! However, please be aware that we do have some basic guidelines for submission. Please make sure any images or videos you submit adhere to these guidelines to ensure we can publish them.

  • What kind of files can I upload?

    We’d love to see your images and videos captured around the world. If you’re uploading images, we accept JPG, JPEG and PNG formats. For video, MP4, MOV, AVI, WMV and FLV formats will work great.

  • What are the quality requirements?

    We appreciate that it’s not always possible to capture images or video in very high resolution or quality – files captured on most modern smartphones (either photos or video) will usually be fine, but files ideally shouldn’t have undergone any compression (for example, files sent over WhatsApp or uploaded to Facebook), as this can reduce the quality significantly. If there are any issues with the quality of files uploaded, we’ll let you know!

  • Do images and video need to be of professional standard?

    Absolutely not! We’d love to see all your candid captures, and certainly don’t expect images or video to be of a professional nature in quality.

  • What will my content be used for?

    Images and video will be published on the Ecoflix interactive map, accessible to our users around the world. Occasionally, we may select particularly great examples for publication elsewhere (for example, the Ecoflix streaming platform). By uploading content, you give your consent for us to do this.

  • How long will it take before my content is published?

    As soon as your uploaded images or video have been screened and moderated, they’ll be published to the Ecoflix map. You’ll be notified via email when this happens (the process generally takes no more than a few days).
